Description:
This workshop will focus on working with aesthetic ideas and technical approaches
for making a variety of wheel-thrown pottery and vessel forms. My objective is
to help each person develop ideas, insights, and skills towards the goal of finding
a stronger personal and expressive style. There will be demonstrations, slide
shows, one-on-one critiques and group discussions all week, addressing these
kinds of issues in the hope of finding strategies that can be employed to make
the individual work more expressive and personal. Solid basic wheel skills are
necessary for this workshop.

- Bring a few slides or pictures of your previous work
- Bring one slide or picture of a piece you love and admire - either from a contemporary or historical source
