Application Procedure

You are welcome to apply either online or by mail. Complete the online application, or call the Shakerag office to apply by telephone (931-968-0210 x3165).

A portion of your total fees is due upon acceptance of your application (the total includes application fee, tuition/meals fee, and housing charge, if applicable); you may choose to pay in one or two installments, as outlined below:

One installment plan: all fees paid upon acceptance of your application (those receiving the $35-per-session discount must pay by check in one installment)
Two installment plan: half of all fees charged upon acceptance of your application; the remaining half of your payment is due May 1, 2009.

Shakerag 2010 fees are as follows:

$45	Registration fee (non-refundable)
$765	Tuition and all meals
$525	Tuition for Franklin, Marion, and Grundy County residents
$375	Housing - single room with air conditioning (shared bath)
$315	Housing - single room with natural breezes (shared bath)
$275	Housing - double room with air conditioning (shared bath)
$215	Housing - double room with natural breezes (shared bath)
-$35	Deduction available for payment by check

You may pay online with a credit card, or you may send a check to the address below. Those choosing to pay by check will receive a discount of $35 per session from total fees; in order to receive this discount, one check must be submitted for the total amount. These payments are due within ten days of registration.

Upon receipt of your application, a member of the Shakerag staff will notify you to let you know if you have a space in the workshop and to iron out any details. Payment instructions will be included with that confirmation.

You are welcome to register for two sessions over two consecutive weeks. There is no additional charge for staying over on Saturday evening, though meals will not be provided.
