A Sampler of Handmade Books

Course Description
The methods of making books are as varied as snowflakes. We will create a sampler of some of the possibilities, ranging from books made from single sheets of paper through pamphlets and a number of accordion variations, to the Cross Structure soft-cover binding and the hard-cover Secret Belgian Binding (which will share a paper slip case). Along the way we will also experiment with paste paint paper decoration, which will be used in many of the models.
