Resist Shaped Fine Wool Scarves

Course Description
Fine wool felting and resist dyeing will be combined in this week-long workshop to create stunning colorful, textured scarves. By using the ability of wool to change shape through the tying and stitching resist dye processes, participants in the class will make fabulous and unique scarves. Participants will learn a fast way to lay out and flat felt fine wool, dye wool with a dry dye powder technique, and use dozens of resist shaped methods and new paper transfer techniques, which will completely change the surface and coloration of the felted scarf.
