Functional Pottery on the Potter’s Wheel: Ideas to Improvisation

Course Description
This workshop will focus on working with aesthetic ideas and technical approaches for making a variety of wheel-thrown pottery and vessel forms. My objective is to help each person develop ideas, insights, and skills towards the goal of finding a stronger personal and expressive style. There will be demonstrations, slide shows, one-on-one critiques, and group discussions, all addressing these kinds of issues in the hope of finding strategies that can be employed to make the individual work more expressive and personal.
