InterAct Easter Egg Hunt
SAS InterAct: The InterAct club will host a community Easter egg hunt on Easter afternoon (Sunday, April 21, at 3:00 pm) on campus in the quad. Egg hunters will have the opportunity to find candy and vouchers which are redeemable for a donation to various local causes. We are working out the details of how to best combine this with the traditional residential egg hunt. We will either hold two egg hunts, or section off an area for younger children. If you have an interest in volunteering for the Easter egg hunt, you may earn service hours. We will have a meeting with all volunteers in Room 9 on April 18, during afternoon work period. See Charlie Barron if you have any questions or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Outreach/Community Service Opportunities:
Help the InterAct Club prepare for our first Community Easter Egg Hunt! If interested, meet in the Student Union this Saturday from 2:00 - 4:00. We will have two groups helping us prepare: one group will fill Easter Eggs and another group will make campus signs to direct people to our Sunday event. If you want to help with Sunday's Community Egg Hunt, we will need lots of student volunteers working in shifts from 1:00 - 4:00. Plan to meet in front of the Dining Hall at 1:00 if you want to help put up signs around campus, hide eggs and welcome people to campus. This first volunteer shift may leave after 2:30, but of course you are welcome to stay for the entire event. If you want to participate in the egg hunt, staff the booth, and help mark our egg hunt boundaries, please meet in front of the Dining Hall at 1:30. This second shift of volunteers is welcome to leave at 3:00 but you may stay for the entire event. Lastly, if you want to help with the clean up, please plan to meet in front of the dining hall at 3:00. Volunteer sign up sheets will be in the dining hall on Wednesday. Thank you!
