If you are looking for school in the city where you will still find a lot of personal attention, strong curricular options and study abroad programs, numerous internship opportunities, unique traditions and is test score optional—come talk to the Transylvania rep. Located in Lexington, KY, which is also home to the University of Kentucky, Transylvania was founded in 1780. It frequently makes the Forbes "best value" list and seems to do a good job of linking graduates with employment after graduation. The science programs, including neuroscience, have a strong reputation and the school does a good job preparing students for med school and other health professions. The visual and performing arts are also very good and there are programs in music technology and digital arts and media as well as more traditional areas.
