The Artful Shirt

VIEW SUPPLY LIST
Use a simple tailored shirt or basic T as a blank canvas to expand your creativity, intuition, design and stitching skills with Katherine Tilton.
 
 
Course Description

In this course we will work with knit and woven fabrics, decoding and hacking the pattern, mixing prints, inventing hand stitching, exploring construction techniques, up-cycling, playing with embellishment, and more. All participants will go home with finished garments.

Beginner to advanced levels. Basic sewing skills and how to use a sewing machine necessary. 

 

 

 

 

Artist Biography

Katherine Tilton brings a light-hearted clarity, simplicity and sense of deep play to all she does. She is artist, educator, designer, creator, sewer, writer, maker, visionary and meditation practitioner/teacher. Her commitment to living a more conscious life contributes to her creativity by providing an open space and immediate presence for inspiration to enter. 

She creates unique garments and textile creations, designs sewing patterns for Butterick pattern company, has 2 classes with Craftsy, works with MarcyTilton.com, and takes small groups to Paris, touring with an eye to design, art, textiles, clothing and adventure.
