Project to Object: Designing a Photo Book Maquette

In this workshop photographers of all experience levels will learn to transform their work into a compelling photobook through a combination of group critiques, hands-on exercises, and bookmaking. Learn how to shape a visual narrative that brings greater depth and meaning to your photography. This workshop will help you identify your strongest images and clarify the central themes of each body of work. We will explore the principles of image selection, pairing, sequencing, rhythm, and pacing to strengthen visual storytelling. By the end of the week you will have created a physical photobook mock-up, gaining an understanding of book structure, editing, and the relationship between photographs on the page.
