About The Artist
Caroline Lathan-Stiefel has exhibited her work in numerous galleries and museums, including The Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville, The John Michael Kohler Arts Center, Suyama Space, The Delaware Contemporary, Sandler Hudson Gallery, Galerie Articule, The Maguire Museum, The Philadelphia Art Alliance, Tigers Strikes Asteroid, Gallerie Urbane, Diana Lowenstein Fine Arts, and the West Collection. She has installed large-scale permanent works at the Clifton Center for Medical Breakthroughs, Temple University, Liberty Property Trust, and the Saint Kate Arts Hotel. In addition, Caroline is a 2015 Pew Fellow in the Arts and the recipient of an Independence Foundation Grant, a Pollock- Krasner Foundation Grant, a Creative Capital Foundation Grant in Visual Arts, and a New Jersey State Council on the Arts Grant in Sculpture. She was born in Atlanta and received her BA in Visual Arts from Brown University and her MFA from the Maine College of Art.
